Where are you most likely going to be spotted on the weekend?
If I am in Berlin and not in the romanian carpathians, most probably you will spot me in a greek restaurant, on the running trail in a Schöneberger Park, the Dussmann Book Store or the LP section or on some saturday's in a Berliner Eckkneipe.
Are you leather shoes or a pair of sneakers?
Both, it depends from the situation. I think "Clothes make the man" and I consider it to show my respect to my companions. But a office day in sneakers to take them off beiing relaxed to work concentraded 100% is amazing.
What do you like to do to unwind after work?
Get on my gravel bike cycling through the street canyons of my hometown Berlin. If the energy level is still allowing it take a run and read a book to clear my mind.
Work sucks when...
People are not contributing to the team work, following their own agenda and beiing not honest with their real intensions is something what I really hate.
What does purposeful work mean to you?
Bringing the right mix of people, personalities, competences and their motivation together to solve a challenge. To encourage and integrate those kind of teams is my purpose and why I am getting up to go work with joy and purpose.
What are you currently challenging yourself with (work-related)?
Founding a company outside of Germany with all the administrative tasks to do so. I believe we need to further internationalize our team and our competence portfolio to strengthen our team and project success.
What is the most important attribute an applicant must have to be successful in your company?
Be curios to explore, be motivated to learn and be passionate about your contribution to our purpose
How important are formal degrees or qualifications in a time when technologies are constantly changing and evolving?
Personally, valuable know-how in methods, experience in its applications and the willingness to deepen and broaden your skill set is very important. it is important to be able to apply those technology-agnostic.
When looking for potential candidates, is there something that you feel carries extra weight in reference to their CV?
A certain level of endurance - to create impact it takes time in your job. Therefore, I like people who are willing to go beyond and do not run away at the first challenge.

What impact are you creating at the moment and what are you intending in your near future ? Why do you think is your personality so relevant for us ? Did you fail once and why did you do so ?

Do you work in 'Cross-Functional' teams? If so, what roles do these teams consist of?
We do - typically, it consists of software development, analytics, data science, business design and product manager. It can vary from project to project and we scale if flexible with competence guilds. We believe Tech-teams should be lead by techpeople. We made the experience that the best performance of teams is achieved by right mindset and the technical understanding of Tech Leads.
What is the mission statement of your company?
creating digital champion - this purpose is meaningful fulfilled from several perspectives: development of digital applications, the organizational transformation aligned to digital business models, the creation and application of computational intelligence from analytics to artificial intelligence and the management of a sustainable digital footprint.
What does good leadership mean to you?
A good leader takes responsibility for her/his action and the team. She/he enables the team by a collaborative creation of a purpose and providing services and ressources necessary to achieve the team target. She/he is stimulating curios and explorative fact-driven solution design. By establishing transparent decision guidelines, she/he is delegating decision sand shapes a trustful creative atmosphere to enable decision outside of her/his desk.
How would you describe the people who report to you? Is there a common thread in your opinion of them?
People working with me, I spend a lot of lifetime together - the most valuable good I have. Therefore, it is for me very important to work with people from whom I can learn something. Obviously, that includes their skills, but also their drive, their motivation and their passion are stimulating factors for my personal development. So, we are hiring people, who are able to do something, what we as an organization cannot do actually. And I am privileged to have people around me doing that !
