Where are you most likely going to be spotted on the weekend?
Are you leather shoes or a pair of sneakers?
You couldn’t turn down a …
What is your favorite song, book or movie?
What do you think about the statement 'hire for attitude, train for skills'?
I truly believe that this is the only way to find the right people. A couple of years ago I heard Kenji Lopez-Alt (a chef and food journalist) talking about it in the podcast Freakonomics. He said: "Finding people who really care. That’s the key. Because you can always teach people skills, but you can’t teach people to give a shit." This sentence is stuck in my head every since and it has great influence on how I approach recruiting.
What does the recruitment process look like in your company?
We usually have one or two phone calls (about 30 Minutes each) to get to know you. Afterwards we invite you for a candidate day at PRISMA (preferably on-site, but during the pandemic we switched to remote). The goal of the candidate day is to give you as much exposure to PRISMA and the people working here, so that you can get a good impression about how it would feel like working at PRISMA. During the day, you will be working on a case study, have lunch, coffee breaks - each time with different people from different teams.
How important are formal degrees or qualifications in a time when technologies are constantly changing and evolving?
Degrees and qualifications are nice to have, but they are not a must have. We are looking for attitude, motivation and potential. If a candidate brings skills on top, even better 👍
What does the first day of work look like in your company?
How would you describe your company culture?
Our company values are #people, #driving, #uniting and #understanding. Where people are at the core of it all.
What does good leadership mean to you?
Good leadership to me means sharing power, putting the needs of others first and help other to develop and perform.
